IN 2021, I OPENED A HOME DECORATION STORE IN HEERLEN. HERE, I COULD COMBINE MY PASSION FOR INTERIOR DESIGN AND GRAPHIC DESIGN. I STARTED BY DESIGNING POSTERS AND CARDS WITH INSPIRING QUOTES. THE POSTERS AND CARDS, INSPIRED, AMONG OTHERS, BY THE WORKS OF HENRI MATISSE, WERE WELL RECEIVED. NOW, I RELEASE A NEW POSTER AND POSTCARD COLLECTION EVERY YEAR AND HAVE RECENTLY DESIGNED A ZODIAC BIRTHDAY CALENDAR.

"(B)RUIS is a magazine created by creatives who have a vested interest in the vibrancy of the city of Heerlen. The local entrepreneur and initiator, who deeply cares about the city, brings color and diversity and positively impacts the city's livability. Without these entrepreneurs, there is no buzz (bruis). In collaboration with Ondernemersfonds Heerlen, we tell the story of the local entrepreneur and initiator to inspire and energize both the residents of Heerlen and the city itself."
